I drink at home because its cheaper. Not just because the price of alcohol, either.
At home, the chance of someone stealing my coat/purse/car keys is MUCH LESS.
So I save that tow bill, and $400 fee for new keys cut and programmed to my Mazda.

Agree. I enjoy getting together with a select group of friends and hanging out at home as I've gotten older.

I miss living in the condo we were in before/right after having kids. So many people our age, so many parties at different locations all within walking/stumbling distance, so much fun out in the backyard around the makeshift fire pit.
